love the community and the ambiance of this kickboxing/gym, the coaches are amazing, full of energy and have created an awesome environment. i highly recommend them. i drive 25 minutes everyday to get here and get my sweat on, thats how awesome they are.

ILKPoway is the best hour of my day. I been coming here for about a year off\on. When I first came here I was about 215lbs, I’m now down to 185lbs and counting. All the Staff here are awesome and will always motivate you to do your Best. But the real life changer is their meal plans. They teach you what to eat and they cater it to your needs. This place is great! Kickboxing is my all time favorite kind of workout and I've been having a blast so far. As soon as I walked through the door the first time I felt so welcomed and the staff are kind and supportive of your fitness goals. Not to mention they are quite encouraging during the workout classes. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a challenging yet rewarding workout!

This place is awesome! I signed up in January as a gift to myself. I figured it was more fun and less than the cost of therapist. Lol In all seriousness, this is what I’ve gotten out of ILKB so far… -Right off the bat, I found a community of people that want to better their health and have fun in a healthy way. -I get a great workout, step by step instruction and a knowledgeable Trainer that is there to make sure I’m using proper form so that I don’t hurt myself. -I was active and decently fit when I joined and I didn’t change my diet (tho they have nutrition plans available if you want). I still lost 10lbs., my fat percentage went down and my muscle percentage went up. -This is my favorite part. I feel empowered! I feel strong, mentally sharp and full of energy. The stress release I get when I punch and kick that bag is invigorating. I obviously love it here and I highly recommend it.

Kickboxing has changed my life for the better! I started off a little apprehensive about my health and fitness goals, but all of the coaches are very knowledgeable, supportive, and encourage members to push themself to the limit every class! It’ll set the tone for the day or help de-stress after a long day of work. Whatever the reason, kickboxing helps you get out of your comfort zone and has many positive benefits! I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve both their mental and physical health! ?

I finished the 6 week challenge down 7.1% body fat! I never thought a 2 AM Instagram scroll would lead to such a positive change in my body XD In all seriousness, this was an overall very good experience. My goals were to gain upper body strength, learn kickboxing basics, drop body fat, and fit into my favorite outfit and all of those goals were blown out of the water. Plus I got added benefits like learning that I really don't need to cook all of my food in fat to have fulfilling meals, losing weight made activities like rock climbing and yoga a lot easier, and learning that I love kickboxing (the company name is very true). I will say as a warning for those who want to give it a go, if eating out or going to breweries is a big part of your diet, then it will be tricky. Also, the halfway point is when you will feel your crummiest then afterward is smooth sailing. Anyways if you need a program that will push you to jumpstart weight loss/ reduction in body fat I definitely recommend this program. Also big shout out to the staff ( Huge thanks to Summer Rae). They were always friendly, enthusiastic, and straightforward the whole way through.

I wish I could say I met my goal of the six week challenge, which was to lose 6% body fat, but that just isn't what showed up on the biometric scale (either at the gym or at home). However, I think my pictures speak for themselves. I am happier looking in the mirror now than I have been in YEARS. I do, in fact, love kickboxing, which is why I joined this gym in the first place, and the results speak for themselves. The meal plans they provide you are easy to follow. The only thing I had a hard time with was meal planning and meal prep because I'm so dang busy, but I came up with some tried and true staples that helped me meet the meal plan criteria every week. Would I do it again? Yes, in a heartbeat. Even though I didn't get the free 6 weeks, I still lost body fat and gained muscle. I also happen to be a runner, and this has really kick started my endurance and speed, which was a really nice bonus. I'm a woman in my mid-40's that's had a stroke, so the fact I was able to see such progress was really gratifying.

I just have to say amazing. Everything about this iLoveKickboxing experience has been amazing. The instructors are great the workouts incredible and the instructions on the diet well that’s all up to the individual to be disciplined but I found it to be extremely helpful. At 50 years old to have the best, most toned body I’ve had in my life! And I’m not finished yet. I am going to keep coming back. I’m so grateful to have found this 6 week challenge on Facebook. I feel so strong and empowered and I can feel every muscle in my body when I move now. My energy level has skyrocketed and I’ve been waking up earlier in the morning then ever in my life ready to start my day! Have to give a shout-out to the coaches (especially Lisa) she coach most of the classes I attended for their support and encouragement. I appreciate that I was able to work at my own speed in the beginning because I was extremely weak and now I’ve built up some strength and can keep up with the best of them 💪. Also I have to say I appreciate the little store that they have at their facility was able to grab whatever I needed if I left something at home. And got some cute new workout apparel. Just have to say it was an amazing transformation and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it and definitely encourage anybody who is looking to get healthier, toned, and stronger and relieve stress. This is the way to go! I love love love Kickboxing!!! I lost 13 pounds and 6% body fat in 6 weeks!

I have been working hard to lose weight since the beginning of the year because I could not believe how much I had put my health and wellness on the back burner over the last decade. I did okay on my own, but one day while driving home I saw a bunch of people beating up bags on the balcony of ILKB and said to myself “you know what? That might be my kind of crazy.” I started with the online special and felt so good and accomplished after those classes that I went ahead and joined in March. Following Covid guidelines was weird but it felt so good to push myself and challenge myself in classes! I began to notice my spirit was changing along with my body as I looked forward to classes and sweating and being strong and fierce for that hour in the mornings. I had to take two months off in the summer for a job out of town, and when I got back I needed a reset so I started the 6 Week Challenge. I won’t lie, the first 2 weeks were hard, as I was used to eating out or frozen meals most days. Coach Lisa told me meal prep was key and that is so true! At my 3 week check in I realized I wasn’t having the same cravings I used to, I didn’t yearn for snacks or sweets, and I was able to pass up junk because I knew I had good meals coming. I had lost weight but I hadn’t lost any body fat. My schedule is weird so I was skipping some food, which Lisa coached me was probably affecting my body fat percentage because I wasn’t giving my body the nutrients it needed after working so hard. I followed the meal plan exactly and lost 3% body fat in 3 weeks! Imagine if I had done that from the beginning! I didn’t quite hit my goal of 25lbs lost (I lost 20), but I sure am proud of the way I feel. I’m so glad I found this place and these people and I hope more people join so there are more classes to love!!
